In order to vote one is supposed to be an American Citizen. In order to become an American Citizen one must have a working understanding of English. That mean to be able to read, write, understand and speak at a functional level. That being the case why debate in Spanish? And if Spanish, why not German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Indian, Farsi and all the other languages recent immigrants speak? I am sure that every single debate so far has been translated into Spanish and broadcast on every Spanish language TV and Radio Station in America.

So, yes, it stinks to high heaven of pandering and I do not like it at all. Go TANCREDO. I am making my check out to his campaign right now.

The candidates should pander to the American Citizens ! "Hispanic"s should be voting in a Hispanic country ! If you live in America and call it your home , then suck it up and admit the country you came from was and is a lesser nation for whatever reason you left it ! So America isn`t your country you left behind , this is America ! America has been bought and paid for two centuries by the blood of our Hero`s we call soldiers ! They didn`t fight and die for a Damn Spanish speaking debate in America !!

Hah! Tancredo is a one-trick pony who himself is pandering to the "we don't want Mexicans in our state", "Focus on the Family" and "white supremacist" crowds.

How can any of the Republican candidates participate in a Spanish speaking debate? To the best of my knowledge, none of them speaks Spanish.

As far as Tancredo goes, clearly he prefers to pander to anti-Latino racists than he does to Latino voters.

I like Tancredo, him and hunter are my guys. If he doesnt want to have a spanish debate, thats his decision. Do you REALLY think hispanics will even listen to his side anyway?

YES. Unfortunately, Tancredo is:
1) a one issue candidate, howbeit the most important issue this time around.
2) A very poor speaker
3) Has no chance,... no chance of being nominated

No ****. Of course it is pandering. But to win the election you have to pander to a certain degree. The Republicans need to convince the Hispanics who are here legally that they not going after them but those that have broken are laws.
