A mid life crises is something very different then what teens go through. But, most teens do go through a "crises". Lots of changes are going on. Emotional changes, and chemical changes. You like the opposite sex (or same sex), but you have no idea what to do about that. In many ways you feel like an adult, but in many ways you feel like a child. This is the hardest age for children, and it's the hardest age for parents. Ask for help. A counselor, school counselor, friends, family. If you can talk to your parents, that's a good source of help. But most teens aren't comfortable talking to parents. If there's an aunt or an adult family member you can talk to. Talk to your friends, but be careful. Your friends are also growing up and they're advice may not be the best. Your church can be a great source of help. Also online support groups.

Sure, especially after a tramatic incident (ie... divorce, death, accident).
I had a mini-mid life crisis at age 26. Ex-husband cheated me - so I moved out, took our daughter, found a new job in Washington, bought a 350Z, sold my house and spent more than $10,000 on christmas presents and other misc stuff.
Oh... and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I guess you need to judge how serious the mid-life crisis is. Going out and buying new boobs, having a nip/tuck or generally doing something to make yourself look younger is not a sever case of mid-life crises!

be careful and watch her very close. lots of women freak out at 28-30. therapist told me it is some hormonal thing.he said it is like some kind of split personality type thing that tends to occur at this age. this has happened to at least 3 of my close Friends. just bam!! they start going out and getting laid and the next thing you know they want a divorce.this happened very fast in all 3 cases. like they were happy and literally overnight they were a totally different person. no joke, i have first hand knowledge. our best Friends are going thru it as we speak. she was a good wife and mother and they seemed very happy. a month later she is pregnant from some guy she slept with. doing things that effect her daughter that i never thought she would do. totally self absorbed.

My wife did. She "felt old". To feel younger she started hanging out with a crowd ten years younger than herself, going to clubs (while I was at work or home with the kids), getting tattoos AND sleeping around with other guys.
When she tells you she is going out for a "girls night out" and she "probably won't be back until morning" be warned. She's having an affair.

Try to say no and you will be accused of sexual prejudice. Hormones are an excuse she can always claim and get away with.
