To divide a fraction, flip the second number upside down and multiply . So 5/5 divided by 1/2 becomes 5/5 times 2/1. 5x2=10, and 5x1=5, so the answer is 10/5, which can be simplified to 2.

When you divide fractions you multiply by the repricol.
A repricol, is a number flipped. so 1/2 would become 2/1

3/4 would become 4/3. <--- Just an example
After you get the repricol, it becomes a multiplication problem.

So it would be 5/5 * 2/1

Which would become 5/5 = 1
2/1 = 2

multiply 2 and 1 and you get 2.

To divide fractions, multiply the dividend by the reciprocal of the divisor. Thus:

5/5 times 2/1 = 1 times 2 =2.

5/5 = 1, one can be divided into two halves as we can see.
