did you believe in the boogy man when you were little?

I believed in the boogy man when i was little i thought he lived under my bed. did you believe in him and why?

I think you mean the 'bogey' man. The boogy man is a dancer who boogies on down and dances the night away. Yes, I was frightened of the bogey man when I was young.

I live in the American mid-west, and there, the Bogey Man comes and looks at you through the window. Creepier, eh?

But no, I've never believed in him. In a series of books my mother read me, THE Bogey Man actually wanted to protect children, and so became the Tooth Fairy.

No but did believe in the sand man that put sleep in your eyes my parents told me that it was important to have sand in my eyes as it means I slept well and would be healthy.
I also was told NEVER to drink the bathroom tap water as it was not clear water to drink but slightly dirty this was said to stop me drinking it and prevent wet beds from my sister. I believed that one until I was 30!! lol

No I didn't and it worries me that people have been told by parents. How horrible to tell a child that they're not safe in their own bed.

Mind you, we did not have the idea when I was a child.

Yes I did belive in him when I was little. The reason I belived in him was because my older sisters told me about him and I was a kid so I belived he was real.
