Well I have GAD and I'm suppose to be taking Lexapro But Im scared to take it and I don't know why. Help Please!! Because I know once I start taking it ill feel better but it takes like 2 weeks to get into my body to really help me out. Please Help!!

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my Doc has to sit back and take me through taking the drug! The reason is simple, I was brought up 'Just to say No' to illegal drugs, so I did. Now I am expected to take prescribed drugs and I am not keen on taking them! However I look at the positive side of sticking on my Fentanyl Pain Patch every 72 hours, walking, seeing the woods, sea, going to the beach, watching the stars, if I did not take my drugs and I seem to eat more drugs than food, as some need to be taken with food, so I eat to take drugs, then I will end up in bed unable to do anything for myself and that would be for me humiliating. I have already been in the nice situation where I became a 4 year old overnight and my Mother had to feed my like a child, let alone help me get dressed, washed, wipe my butt and it was not nice and I really do not want to return. it could be the fact that you've never taken
Lexapro (if thats true..) and you're
worried about side effects,how it'll make you
feel,if it will go against any other medicines
you may be on.. This is a normal feeling
you're having.
