im going to audition for a play at my school..
i was just wondering.
does anyone know if a really kick-butt audition song?!
it has to be from a musicial...and i kind of prefer one that's not too well-known or overly done [["tomorrow" "somewhere over the rainbow" etc.]]

...
if you find one..
could you also attach a link to a place that might have what it sounds like..like a youtube video or something?!?!
...
its okay if you dont though...

THANKS GUYS!!

My daughter's favorite is My New Philosophy from You're a Good Man Charlie Brown

It sounds better on the album to be honest, but that is one example.

good luck,
Marianne

well, it depends what fits your voice.
and it cant be vulgar.
you shouldve said if you were a soprano or not..
a good song to audition with for soprano is "'tis the last rose of summer"
charolette church sings it, you can find it on youtube probably.
another one could be "good morning baltimore" from hairspray
something for altos might be a song sung by elphaba in wicked..look on itunes for one of those..
