There are several reasons,

A. You're irregular
B. You're Stressed
C. You're an athlete & your body is delaying menstruation
D. Poor nutrition

There are many reasons why your period could be delayed. Stress, hormonal imbalances....there is a big list. If you do not get your period in 2 months contact your doctor. Otherwise just simply wait. Things usually even themselves out within a short time.

Extreme exercise. A lot of female athletes don't even have a cycle...until they stop the athletics.

Some diseases of the female system...will interrupt the cycle and of course fear and stress. If you did something stupid and untimely the stress could stop you.
