I'm changing bank accts and I paid something by the wrong one and now i'm over drafted and this has never happened before and I've worked very hard to build up my credit to be good and I was just wondering if i should be worried.

It will not affect your credit. Banks only report to credit bureaus about their deposit accounts if the account is overdrawn for many days and gets charged off to collections.

Many good people make tiny mistakes like that in their checking accounts every day. Don't worry about it, but make sure that you do get everything squared away with whom you wrote the check to.

I screw up and overdraw my checking account about once a year. I correct the problem in under a week. As of 2 months ago, my credit report does not even show that I have a checking account. Anything that is not on the credit report CAN'T affect your credit score.

I own a business and overdraft all the time.
