When is the US going to learn from those shootings, whether in a school or a mall or anywhere else for that matter, that they need to ban guns? How many more senseless deaths are needed?

Ever notice how security increases after it is too late?
Like now, there was parent who complained to the police that his son was offered drugs by Hawkin's friends and that those boys had easy access to guns. If action was taken then, could they have prevented this tragedy?

you pro gun fanatics, how comes those things do not happen where there are gun laws?
I have never heard of such a tragedy where I live and I do not need a gun to defend myself from those so called criminals who are getting guns in the first place. How come this kind of thing does not happen where I live?

Dodger, it sure will make it harder. Its like someone who a compulsive eater. Put the food in his fridge and he will eat it. Take it away and it will make it harder, perhaps not impossible, but makes him think twice,
The harder you make it for criminals, the less we will see those things!!!

You are admitting that you are living in such a corrupt society that you feel the need to carry guns in your homes to defend yourselves!!!!

Finally someone sane Mike answering my question.
My question to those who defend so called " legal
gun owners who have gone through some legalities to rightfully own a gun"
And how do you know the intention of those people? This is not the same with buying a car. Guns have one purpose and one purpose only!!

The answer above about Timoth McVeigh was particularly funny-he was a licensed gun nutter as well, which rather undermines her argument
It always makes me laugh to see the gun nutters defend their constitutional right to shoot another person. Never once has a gun owner given me a convincing explanation of why they practice on human silhouette targets; they just don't want to admit that they like the idea of blowing someone away. The same old arguments get wheeled out time after time, law abiding gun owners will suffer, only criminals carry out massacres etc etc...what a load of crap. In Britain all gun ownership was banned after licensed gun owner Thomas Hamilton walked into a school and shot dead 16 children and a teacher with a .357. Our patrol police don't carry guns, and in the last five years there have been two officers shot dead-one by an American criminal here setting up a drugs deal. On average there are 60-90 gun murders in Britain per year, in a country with a quarter of the USA's population. Compare that with an average of 11000-13000 gun murders per year in the USA and it becomes clear that the pathetically limp excuses the gun fanatics offer in support of their argument are just so much nonsense. How can any country allow the legal sale of assault rifles to the general public? Who the f*ck needs an assault rifle other than to kill somebody? The same goes for handguns; nobody can say they are for hunting, they are for KILLING PEOPLE with. The gun crazies can bleat about their rights etc all they like, but the fact is they won't give up their guns because they like them and they make them feel powerful.

there desires to be extra regulations on gun administration! what proportion extra people ought to die after this! for sure what we've isn't adequate! people say that it may well be a contravention of the 2d substitute, yet unique the founding fathers have been talking with regard to the protection rigidity and how they have the the main suitable option to bear hands to achievable. it wasn't meant that persons might desire to. and if everybody is going to have weapons then they ought to ought to have it visibly shown so people comprehend to be careful. plus why might somebody permit a individual who isn't even a citizen (who technically, would not have a similar rights that a citizen does) get a gun. for people who think of that it might merely make issues worse are incorrect. if we limit issues and enforce those regulations, it might desire to deter people from doing the undesirable issues that they do. for sure information do no longer lie.

OOOOO...OOOOO...Here's a GREAT IDEA.
Make it against the law to kill someone.
That will prevent any more murders from taking place anywhere EVER!!!
Hey, it makes just as much sense as your proposal.
Here's a few more questions you should ask while you're at it.....
When is the EU going to agree to ban Islamic Immigration, so France won't keep catching fire? How many more senseless deaths are needed?
When are the nations of Africa going to admit that self-rule is more than they can handle, and throw themselves on the benevolent mercy of the United Nations, which will make everything all better? How many more senseless deaths are needed?
When is China going to finally begin giving a bucket of cold spit about their environmental quality instead of their helter-skelter rush to build a modern industrial capacity? How many more senseless deaths are needed?
When are you going to stop trying to tell the one country that has managed to get most things right in the last 231 years what they should do about their problems, and make your little corner of the planet a better place first?

Your rationale is faulty. Using that line of thought, let's ban automobiles, to begin with, then any kind of activity that could possibly injure or kill someone. It's not the gun, it's the person. When will the gun-control fanatics get it through their thick heads that only law-abiding people obey gun laws. Criminals will not, hence the name "criminal". The stupidest sign in the world has to be a bank with a no weapons sign on the door. If you don't want a firearm, don't have one, but do not presume to tell others they can't have one either.

The Omaha mall where the massacre recently took place was officially a "Gun Free Zone"...
Seems to me that psychos who want to engage in slaughter will not be likely to adhere to such rules. The only folks officially disarmed will be the law-abiding citizen who could actually minimize such carnage.

People kill people. A ban on guns will just bring on a whole new era. Ever heard of Timothy McVeigh? He was the Oklahoma City Bomber, he killed many more then a shooter ever did. If there were no guns, we would just have suicide bombers.
Taking away one kind of weapon, will only allow others to find an even deadlier way to kill numerous people. If a person is set about killing, taking away their gun wont do a darn thing about it.

What do you suppose we do?
proportionally, it's the criminals with illegal guns who commit crimes, not people who purchase, register, and use them against criminals. Banning guns will simply leave honest people without firearms, to be bullied by the people with illegal guns, who use them for malicious purposes.
Guns are necessary; whether it be against a government, or a criminal, and they will never go away. It wasn't the gun who killed those people in that mall, those kids in that school; the killer was the person - plain and simple.

Do you actually believe that outlaws will get rid of their weapons if banned?????.........BRILLIANT!!!!
