I'll tell you why...straight women are not threatened by gay men. A gay man will not try to hit on a woman, and some gay men are sensitive so it's like having a male best friend who they know won't ever try to sleep with them. Lesbians on the other hand, tend not to like straight men because a lot of straight men will hit on them, and most lesbians don't like being hit on by guys. They don't like it! So you see, straight women are not threatened by gay men, but lesbians may feel threatened by straight men.

Lebians reasons for hating straight men:
They were raped at a young age.
They dated a bi girl and lost her to a straight man. My relationship is proof of that.
Lesbians might just hate straight men just because they never got a chance to date a guy in school because of being bullyed (like my woman's ex).
Some lesbians will manipulate straight women into turning lesbian and vice versa for men.
And if course being threatened by men.

it's a crazy circle kinda goes like this "Straight" men hate Gay Men, Straight women love gay men, Lesbians hate straight men (sometimes all men) and Straight men love lesbians.
Crazy, sick, sad world! I find it so tragic that many straight people (mostly insecure "men") have that much hate in their hearts for others just because of who they sleep with. Yeah I suppose I could understand something not being your cup of tea, or even finding it "gross" but to hate someone over it is well "Gay" as you straights say.
I see how the world works though, so I understand where alot of this is coming from. Not hard to figure really.

Because gay men usually make great friends for straight women. But I don't think it's true at all that lesbians hate straight men. Most lesbians I know like men except the guys who are nasty and homophobic.

Straight women can talk with gay men, hang out with them, and not feel like the guy is going to use them for sex. A straight man will often be friends with a woman just to get sex, but with a gay guy, of course this is not a factor in the relationship. As far as lesbian women hating straight men, I have never known that to be the case. I know many lesbian women who are friends with straight men, and their wives too. And, I know several lesbians in motorcycle groups who hang with straight me too. Hate is a strong word, and I have not known many lesbian women who hate other people. Usually, I have found them to be very sweet people, very kind, sensitive people as it is not easy being both gay and a woman.

Since I am a straight female, I like my gay male friends because they have that famale intuition. They show their sensitive side of a man that straight men cannot or will not show.
I have a lot a lesbian friends also, most don't hate straight men. But they are competitive with them. Especially if they are attracted to the same person.....LOL

I think stereotypes probably have a lot to do with this. Many people think that some women become lesbian because they have given up on men, while a lot of women (and quite a lot of men) have this idea that gay men are more sensitive (a 'feminine' trait) and better listeners, as well as having good fashion sense (a cliche no doubt constantly reinforced by the media).

I can't believe people don't get it. I doubt lesbians hate men it is simply because straight men are more pervy about two women together. Most men can't handle not being involved. Women with gay men is quite different, they are not as pervy about it.

Ok if that isnt the broadest, over-generalization I have ever read...People are drawn to who they are drawn to..Not because they are gay or straight...The real question is why is this an issue for you? In my vast experience I've known countless lesbians that have quality relationships with and enjoy spending quality time with straight men...so I guess I am very confussed why you are even asking this question. Your limited experience has produced a faulty logic...You need to get out more often...
