Here are my questions about Math history:

1. What has influenced the world of math based off the greeks
2. Who were some famous mathematicians and what did they invent or give to the society of math?

If you wish to have links to explain the answers that would help out a lot.

If you see an answer like serach on google or go to the library and find it yourself, please mark them as bad answer. Other than that, please put them as good answer. Thank you! :)

There is a superb listing with internal links to short and long biographies and links to additional, external resources at:

P.S. I am amused to note our respective avatar images.

Pythagoras influenced Plato and hence all of philosophy, including the Christian religion.

Archimedes and Euclid laid the groundwork for pretty much all of mathematics, including the parts (like calculus) that underlie all of physics, engineering, and hence technology.

Without Archimedes or a replacement for him, we wouldn't be having this discussion, because there wouldn't be an Internet.

Why don't you go look up Archimedes and Pythagoras for starters?
