You don't need to give me a star, I just wanted to point out that we need to show some of the others we care

Yes, I agree.... I am a Star Giver... if I take the time to answer it, someone has taken the time to try to come up with a question that won't send someone into a tirade, I'm entertained. It's great why not share in what wealth we can in the form of Stars... I've noticed I don't get many Stars either when I dare to ask a question! I will of course give you a Star too!

I give out stars all the time. And I agree we need to take the time to do this with "good questions"

Absolutely! I wouldn't answer your question unless I thought it was interesting. Also, I believe everyone who answers my questions deserves (and I give) a thumbs up. If you took the time to answer my question, that's the least I can do (without chatting)!

I'm usually more than liberal with stars, but think their purpose is more for exceptional questions (thumbs up, exceptionally good answers) and not simply that it was interesting enough to warrant an answer. ((in my humble opinion))

I agree. I always do, unless I just forget. I give thumbs up to many answers too.

I love to give stars. Sometimes I get distracted and forget about them though.

I often do the opposite. I'll star it but not answer if I don't have anything to add.

Yeah, definitely. I always press 'Interesting' if I find an interesting question. For example, I answered a question for a man who's kitten smelt of cheese and marked that as 'Interesting'.

I think that by answering the question we are showing that we care about the question.
