I live in the DC metropoliltan area and it had snowed last wednesday( about 3 inches ) but now the snow is all gone

Here in County Down it is a lovely day. Bright and sunny, almost warm. Thank goodness the lashing rain we had all Friday and yesterday didn't fall as snow. We would have been in deep, deep drifts and not able to get out.
