I accidentally put in antifreeze instead of windshield washer fluid in my car (not a lot, the container was almost empty). What's the best way of flushing it out?

Remove and dispose of the Anti-freeze properly, wahs w/soapy water, rinse, replace, add windshield fluid & really soak the windshield w/clean fluid to remove the anti-freeze from the lines to wipers. Then clean the windshield several times, as anti-fz will leave residue, be sure to clean/windshield wipers too!! Maybe a 1/2 hour of stuff!! good luck

Actually the washer fluid will work or straight alcohol will do the trick. Don't run it on the windshield though disconnect your washer hose and flush the system out first.

not inevitably. in case you place a pair of liters interior the reservoir, even though it in general stayed there, no actual injury ought to come of it. you pays a fortune for some shop to repair it. you're able to desire to probable drain it your self, and a small volume of windshield fluid shouldn't degrade your coolant or reason too a lot foaming. in case you bypass to repair your self, there are some diverse strategies a to do it. you could only flush it out with a water hose, and from now on water interior the tank will the two run out or bypass into your radiator, diluting your coolant slightly, yet not too a lot, except you have been very low on your coolant combination besides. you could disconnect the rubber hose from the coolant tank to the radiator, drain it out and in line with possibility rinse it, reconnect the hose and top off it to the right point. in case you get freezing climate, you ought to confirm you do not depart purely water on your reservoir or radiator.
