See, i have huge hill in the back of my house, and it's private property(its a golf coarse). For 1 week kids have sled down with the snowboards landing into my grass and tearing it up. I spend have spent at least $200-$300 trying to make the house nice with flowers and adding furtalizer. I called the owners of this property and they said it's illegal for them to even come onto this land. We have talked to the parents of these kids and they don't really care. my problem is i have NO privacy, they are screaming all day. My kids are getting angry as well because these are students that are rude to them.
now my question, what should i/can i do to get these kids off my lawn and stop vandalizing? I don't want to be mean because these are the people my kids go to school with.
p.s In the summer time the use bikes instead of sleds and i have asked them NICELY to leave.

All good ideas thank you! I really do with i could put a fence but i am not allowed to by the society i live in. It states that anyone have a house backing a golf course is banned for surrounding their house with any kind of fence due to possible injury." very stupid i know, i cant change the rules though =(

how about a razor wire, just kidding, if you have tried talking to the parents about this, sound like the next step is talking to the authorities about it. see if the police will do something. if nothing else maybe they can make them understand that its costing you money for repair etc. i would suggest documenting the issues, you might have to sue for damages, hope not, try to talk it out civilly first.

That is a stupid rule that you can't put up a fence. Since you can't do that, definitely go talk to the golf course manager, and the authorities. You shouldn't have to live with rude kids.

thing is kids these days dont have to many places to play that dont cost an arm and a leg....isnt it better our next generation is out doors getting some exersize and playing rather than held up in a basement doing drugs...i understand about your lawn believe me ...I just made a putting range out of our field mowing it with a hand mower feeding and grooming it ...then the kids decided to ride the bikes and make jumps out of the dirt mounds on the side thus riding right thru my grass....i wanted to freak but i had to step back and allow the LITTLE BLESSINGS to play cuz grass will always grow and young minds need to

if this hill is on a golf course and not your property, perhaps you should contact the golf course and let them know about the eyesore as they are responsible for keeping their grounds neat clean and tidy. If they approach the families, it may have a bigger impact.
