I am writing an essay about a country I would rather live in.
I chose Italy.
I chose it for these reasons: ocean, culture, history, architecture, and weather.
What are other great things about italy (from first hand experience, maybe) that can lead to a more detailed essay.

Such as: quality of life, economy, government, affairs, etc.

Thanks!

I think you've got it pretty well covered in your list of reasons.
Here are a few more suggestions and links:

Describe the cities: Rome, Venice, Florence Genoa, Milan, Naples, etc... and what makes them great and unique in the world.

In their culture, describe how they do things differently in everyday life than your country and how they think differently than people in your country.

Also, where they stand on various lists of nations, like per capita income, health standards, etc...

There's no ocean in Italy. Weather is quite crappy during winter. It's been raining for days. You can find culture, history and good architecture in any other European Country as well.

Quality of life sucks. Economy sucks. Government sucks. Etc.

Low wages. High unemployment. Public services that don't work. Crime on the rise all over the Country.

Those, and many others are great reasons to live in Italy.
