Speed = 780 / 15 mph
Speed = 156 / 3 mph
Speed = 52 mph

The clue is in the units of speed miles per hour. i.e number of miles travelled in one hour.

Therefore divide 390 miles by 7 and a half hours.

390/7.5 = 52 mph
