13 is still young, even though it doesn't seem like it. I'm sure some of your friends have started already and it is seeming like forever for you. Be patient. You will have a lifetime of periods, so enjoy NOT having it now. :)

That's normal. I started mine at eleven, and while I was thrilled then, I wish I would have started later. My best friend didn't start hers until she was almost seventeen. She never had to worry about the hazards of wearing white pants or going to a pool party until she was a senior.

If you're starting to show signs of puberty, like growing wider hips, breasts, and pubic/armpit hair, talk to your doctor or mother or sister about it. They can explain what you're looking for, and what you need to have on hand for when it happens. Asking your mother and any older sisters when they started their periods can be a rough guide for when yours will start. My mother started at twelve, and my little sister started at fourteen.

Bottom line, you're okay. Enjoy the time now where you don't have to worry about it and deal with cramping and bleeding and mood swings. You'll have it for decades, no need to rush!

Started your period at all? OR missed a period and think you're pregnant? If you have never had a period just wait it out. i know you may want to start but trust me its not all it seems to be! Otherwise take a home pregnancy test or look in the phone book for a clinic in town that does free testing. (like a crisis pregnancy center) I hope you're not but if you are its best to know as soon as possiable so you have more options!
Best of luck to you!

I'm geussing you mean your period?
DOn't worry! I know plenty of girls your age who haven't started. my sister and I both started when we were ten, but my mom started around fourteen. There's nothing you can do to make it come faster, and trust me, you don't want it to come any faster than it's going to.
If you don't get it by the time you're sixtenn, though, you should see a doctor to make sure that you weigh enough, etc.

It'll come, just be patient and if your that concerned, I suggest you go see a doctor. There's really no rush, believe me. Once you get it, you're going to wish you wouldn't have one, lol. I wish I started my period later, I was only nine when I got it. Every person is different, just calm down.

Don't be in too much of a hurry. I didn't start till I was 14. It happened my first day of high school, very embarrasing.

I was almost 15. There is no help that you need. No one can decide when you will or should have your period.

give yourself time.your body knows when it should start.
besides, have you talked to your mom about this... history works into your body too.
my mom told me she started when 14 and the year I turned 14 I started.
