If you ask me that's false advertising right?

There is no such thing as a "Free" lunch. You will be paying for it somehow.
It's all to do with psychology, by nature people are drawn to anything that is "free". It gets people into shops in the hope that they will buy other merchandise. Most people aren't disciplined enough just to go into a store to buy the exact things that they want, they will inevitably put other things in their basket as impulse buys. Usually the "free" item is out of stock anyway but there will be another product similar next to the "free" item to entice people to buy that.
I myself and a very disciplined shopper and rarely impulse buy as I only ever take the exact amount of money for the goods I intend to purchase with me.

Yes it is false advertising but as long as they given 1 item for free, then there isn't anything anyone or body can do about it.

Hope this helps and have a nice weekend. ;) x

It's not false advertising if the item they say is "free," is actually given away for free, regardless of the conditions that are attached. Consider that nothing advertised is free. You have to pay for advertising with revenue. Whatever they're giving away something for free, consider that to be like a free stereo... (free when you buy a car).

The word "Free" gets peoples attention. So they give you free trials, and hoping you like it so much you will purchase the product or item. It usually works because if the ad made you try it "FREE in the first place they caught your attention, then they hope to sell it to you! It's all in good marketing skills!

It's to get your attention. People/ Companies will usually give something small away free in the short term for more lucrative gains in the future.

let's say you buy something and you get something else for "free"... the price of the "free" item is already added together with the item you are purchasing. In service, let's say you get a "free" service after you paid for the 1st one... the price of the "free" one is merged together with the 1st one which you already paid for.

Ones of the best quotes is, 'there is no such thing as a free lunch.' Now that is a mouthful. Buyer beware!

Because people like to cheat and trick people and they always have a freakin star next to the word "free" and a footnote at the bottom that says you have to pay. That's very mean and it means all those people are freakin liars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
