Yep--flu shot. As an asthmatic I'm in a high risk group for pneumonia should I get the flu, and I'm not about to mess around with that possibility. I'm lucky--we get them handed out free at work.
I'm also in health care and the person who said the shots make you sick is not correct. Flu shots are not made from a live virus so they can't give you the flu.

Got the flu shot, they're free at work as are the pneumonia shots, but they are good for five years and I got one last year.

We get free flu shots every year at work. Because I work in hospitality and get exposed to people from all over the world carrying all kinds of nasty bugs they want to try and cut down on people getting sick and having to take time off.

Already did-first of November, have gotten them for about 8 years, have not caught the flu. Knock on wood. I have come down with a cold once or twice.

I had my Flu Jab last month...Not something I look forward to but preferable to the Flu.
And I think I had the pneumonia one a few years back.Thats a one off ..... I think (hope)
