Depending on how far along you are, it could be normal. If it's to the point that you can't do anything because of it, take 2 tylenol extra strength and put a heating pad on your back.
Also, when it doesn't hurt so bad, do some gentle stretches that pull your backbone AWAY from your belly. Grab a table, chair or counter and slowly lean forward, arching your back like a cat. Don't move quickly, and if it hurts at all, stop doing it. Reach for your toes... if you can touch them, more power to ya! This should help relax your muscles and build a little bit of strength back into them, which will help your back support your new belly better.

It maybe cuz you are doing to much..
I am preg with my first baby and almost 12 weeks and my back hurted alot now I have started to take it slow.. not to much work and the pain has been going away..
it hurts once in a while but not like it used to..

It is because your body is carrying extra weight and that is where you support it. So you should try a heating pad and see if that helps.
