I kind of like McKinney more because its on its own ... Frisco feels too much like an extension of Plano. I like that the 75 goes right from McKinney to downtown Dallas but is there any realtor with experience in the area? Anyone know about the new developments going in and furture masterplan?

My son got transferred from Tyler to Dallas. When they started looking around, they decided on McKinney and live in an area called Stonebridge Ranch. Seems like in his area, all of the street have GOLF related names! All of the houses out in that area are new - I think if you get to the east side of 75, you start getting into the older homes and get closer to "downtown."

When I bought my house, we just started driving the neighborhoods and looking at WHERE we wanted to live.

It sure is a BUYERS' market as there are a LOT of homes on the market and we have been insuring more and more VACANT houses that didn't sell as quick as the seller had intended. This should put YOU in an advantageous position as a seller will be more inclined to negotiate the sales price!

They live about as far west as you can get in McKinney, north of 121 where the Frisco Mall is, east of Custer Road and south of 380. He works on Mockingbird, near Love Field and drives in everyday! I told him that he could have stayed in Tyler and commuted (to keep my granddaughter in town) and have about the same DRIVE time - just more miles to drive!

McKinney just built a new high school in that area and it is NICE!! They hired the principal from one of the high schools in Tyler to be the principal there.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

My aunt lives in Frisco, so I would bet on that city.
She is always into the up and coming areas and planned subdivisions!
I do see how McKinney is more convenient for you. Especially since Frisco is past McKinney.
I do not live in the area so I do not know the future of it!
The mall is pretty nice out there...

I easily have the Angels winning 2 of three. possibly lose day after today (Tuesday) yet come on solid on Wednesday. domicile field could benefit the Angels. Texas is approximately executed. I see the Mariners suffering with it out with the Angels, too warm in Texas, they choose an indoor stadium. Angels will win American West. Socia the l. a. Dodger Rocks! bypass Angels, bypass Dodgers. bypass l. a.!!!
