In essence they just did out troop’s a big favor; now no military or veteran will ever again take a loan from greedy GE Money Bank or any of their affiliates’. In a round about way they protected this new generation in our military from ever signing any kind of finance “deal” with them even for a vehicle when they return home. It is better than the legislation that caps loan interest rates for Veterans around 32%. 32% interest on a loan (not with a VA approved loan) and that is supposed to be our government supporting and protecting us veterans, go figure?
In a round about way; thanks NBC

GE and NBC have shown consistently that they are leftists with an international government agenda. these elitist are the epitome of what is destroying this country. Any business that would refuse this ad would have to be heartless and despicable. But then again, perhaps if it had depicted a homosexual soldier in drag, they would have played it!

MANY TV adds come with web sites it's just that NBC has always broadcast the bad things in the war. If they show the add it would show that the surge IS working and this goes against the liberal owners of NBC. Libs only believe in free speech when it falls into their criteria. NBC is VERY anti-Bush and ant-american

All that Freedom Watch needs to do to have NBC air its "Thank You Troops" message is to remove its website address from the ad. Oddly enough, Freedom Watch won't do that.
Rather leads me to believe that Freedom Watch is more concerned with promotion of its website than it is with thanking our troops for service. After all, if FW's MAIN concern is thanking the troops, can they NOT thank the troops without the website address shown ?

I am truly puzzled by this action, and I don't think it breaks down to the rhetoric of "liberal, leftist" stuff. I suspect GE must have something to do with it, but I can't figure out what. They run other ads with websites in them. Is Freedom's Watch part of the INFACT boycott by any chance? I really don't understand this. Motivations at this level always have something to do with profit.

Its not "political correctness" that is an issue here as some so called top contributor called it. Its NBC's and lot of so called "progressive" liberals complete lack of moral correctness and the total hypocrisy of the liberal agenda. No one asked NBC to support the war on terror or President Bush they asked them to support "our" troops. You call it "political correctness" at its worst i call it hypocrisy and immorality at its best!.
