I have an emachine W3050 and have recovery disks I just don't know how do use the darn things..lol Not very computer literate here. Ive tried to do a system restore but it wont let me the page keeps coming up blank. I just need to know how to use these disks. TY

To do a FULL SYSTEM RECOVERY on an eMachine...
Put Disk One into the computer while it is on. Hard Reboot the machine by holding down the power button until it turns off. Turn the machine back on and immediately start pressing F11 as if you were playing a video game (tap it over and over).
It should bring you to a screen that asks you to boot from CD and/or it will bring you to a screen that asks if you want to continue the process.
Follow the prompts on the screen, and you will do a FULL SYSTEM RECOVERY

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your PC and follow ALL the installation instructions and “How To's” to the letter. Look for "Recovery".

Put disk one in then restart the computer with it in the drive. When the computer turns on again it should read the cd and get on with the process..
