We have to add it to the list...
Lke the 4 year old suspended from Kindergarten for sexual harrassment:
Is this a complete joke? A teacher's aide at La Vega Primary School, in Waco Texas said that a 4 year old boy improperly touched her, after he was lining up to get on the school bus, and he ran to give her a hug rubbing his face in her chest. The principal at La Vega primary school sent home a letter to the parents of the 4 year old boy, The Blackwells, the letter stated that the pre kindergartener demorstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment.
The father, Demarcus Blackwell said this is ridiculous that the teacher's aide would misread a huge from a 4 year old, and that she needs to be evalutated. Demarcus Blackwell demanded that the indcident be removed from his son's record. The sexual references were removed, but the request for an apology by the teacher aide, and the removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied. The files will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact", in which this will follow him for the rest of his life, when their is in no way this 4 year old boy could have understood sexual contact of just giving a teacher aide a simple hug.
Peace?

I think there's more to it. I think it's highly unlikely that people suddenly started complaining about his bad breath after so many years of service. And I think it's just as unlikely that his employer was suddenly so put off by his bad breath that they unexpectedly decided that they could no longer tolerate it.
Unfortunately for him, New York is an “employment-at-will” state. Therefore, an employer in New York may generally terminate an employment relationship at any time and for any reason. And, in fact, an employer doesn't have to be truthful when providing an employee with a reason for termination. So, unless there's a federal or state law, a collective bargaining agreement, or an individual employment contract that may place further limitations on an otherwise at-will relationship, good luck to him on trying to do anything about it.

If the story represents the complete truth of both sides in the matter I would think a more appropriate resolution could have been reached. However, having been on the receiving end of a newspaper story at one time that vastly distorted the facts of a case, I find myself being extremely skeptical of news reporting.

well, i can understand their position, the guy works in the public eye, with direct contact, mostly close contact, with people. To keep up an image one would want their employees well dressed, with good hygiene and manners. The poor guy though should probably demand dental assistance because this is probably the problem anyway. He has a form of gum disease. Sucks for him.

It's not fair but I guess the residents complained. They pay a lot for a posh apartment so they want everything just right.
Esp when their posh friends visit.
Isn't there a treatment for Halitosis? If not then it's like a disability.
Good luck to the guy.

Answer: You know how to pick them, don't you.
I always thought that the most outrageous thing was people that joined a Union to protect them from their employer...And then went to work for their own government!
This borders on plain silly!

Yes that is very outrageous, it probably has something more to it and that is the tag they put on it as a reason. But I think that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of.

Yes that is outrageous and I'm guessing the company just wanted to be able to get rid of him without legally laying him off and making him eligible for unemployment benefits. As none of the tenants have complained there is no basis for the suspension and I hope his union helps him win his case.
