saban is from ohio, don james who won nat championship at washington, bo shembeckler, woody hayes, paul brown, lou holtz, they can't even be enumerated. ohio produces almost all truly good coaches.

They may be from Ohio, but some GREATS have their roots in the Little Apple too. Kansas State's LEGENDARY Bill Snyder has given several great head coaches their introduction and upbringing in NCAA football...Mark Mangino of KU, Jim Levitt of S Fla, Bob Stoops of OU (All 3 of them had top 10 rankings this season) and Mike Stoops of Arizona.... to name a few that ring a bell this season!

Ohio. Jim Tressel, Bob Stoops, Les Miles, Urban Meyer, Gary Pinkel(the guy at Missou) and new Nebraska head coach bo Pelini. Also, Ron Zook is from the state.
Not only are all of them from Ohio, they are from NE ohio. Don Shula was from there, and many many others.
