i am thinking of buying a 27foot sail boat. i have been on boats all my life but rarely a sail boat. how hard of trip do you think this would be from key west to the keys?

Well, since you know nothing about a sailboat I'd say it was a bad choice unless you have some really experienced people with you. Sailboats are a lot of work. Good luck anyway.

Well since Key West is one of the Keys you can keep it tied to the dock. Unless you have another particular Key in mind.

Short sail, may as well walk, your in the Keys, lowest one, go figure.
