First, let me state that I am pro-breastfeeding. I did it with my first, and am still going strong with my 9 month old. Just curious, what's the strangest place you've done it? I have breastfed in loads of public places (as I'm sure most nursing moms have), but I did it once at a zoo that had these really huge wooden rocking chairs around the merry-go-round. I felt like I was in a fairy tale, LOL. The chairs were huge, my feet were sticking off the end ;)

The strangest place, I would have to say, was on a parade float in a Fourth of July parade. I was Mrs Claus LOL (Christmas in July)
Let me tell you- her outfit is NOT nursing friendly haha
The MOST public though would be on the front page of the newspaper when we were at the Guinness Book Synchronized breastfeeding location that was nearest me during this last World Breastfeeding Week. That was pretty neat.

It wasnt me (although Im pro also) but was really impressed on with this woman breastfeeding, while pushing a cart at Target and the baby wasnt int a carrier! That takes skills!

In the dentist's chair, while having a filling replaced. My twins were about 2 months old, and someone ALWAYS needed to nurse. The dentist and hygenist thought it was hilarious. He eventually nursed to sleep and slept through the drill (I wish I could have!).

well i breast feed and bottle feed and the first time i breastfed i forgot to bring a bottle and it was in the doc office the second time i was spending the night at a freinds and i thought i was going strait to her house and we went to wal mart and i had not had a bottle made so i had to feed her there and she was so loud

in my in laws living room while they were moving in to their new house. there were moving men every where, not to mention all my husbands family walking in and out of the room.
btw, cute "fairy tale" breastfeeding story heheh.

The strangest was at a college because i took my neice for her to apply and in the lobby i was brest-feading my twins! :)

Of course, when my first was born, before I gave up and started nursing in public, I nursed her sitting on a toilet to hide from everyone. If nursing our babies in the bathroom isn't strange...NOTHING is.
