Final Fantasy 12 Loot: Keep or Sell?

Question

Can anyone tell me what loot I should be keeping? I figure it is safe to sell all of the pelts, but I'm afraid to sell my stones and other such things because I might need them for something later in the game... Am I being paranoid or am I right to be a pack rat and save it all?

I recommend keeping teleport stones until you are able to buy them, they will come in handy. Other than that, sell! Selling certain items is the only way to unlock the good items, armor, and weapons in the bazaar. Here is a really good loot management guide that tells you what items to sell to unlock certain items, and what enemies drop that loot.

You should keep teleport stones for teleporting and gyscal greens (I'm unsure of the spelling) because they're used for riding chocobos. For me, I keep everything thats 1,000 gil or above because those are usually very rare items that are hard to get. Anything under 1,000 gil you can sell because those can be easily found again. Selling/keeping loot won't drastically change the game, its just a matter of if you want rare weapons or not.

P.S. Don't forget to sell the armor that you don't use anymore!

If your planning to get everything 100% in the game there's stuff you should have with you sometimes. Some of it is just really wierd weapons that don't do you any good by the time you can get them. For this you need a walk through. If you don't care, sell it. The stuff you have to do to get the stuff is far beyond complicated, so just sell it. None of it is relavant to storyline. It's just loot!
