Fax machine used to work fine now when I fax the machine continually redials (maybe it can't make a connection with another fax machine?). Any help would be much appreciated!

It does ring when on and the home phone is ringing. The fax line is plugged into the home phone line. And I am def. dialing the correct number. Can't try faxing myself unless I have someone here to receive. Will try that during the week. Still need more help. Spyke where are you???

Are you sure the NUMBER being dialed is right ?
FAX your own mobile / landline, and check it rings, answer it, should hear whistling sound.
Now send a test fax to a known fax No and test, if it still fails, contact Dell for help !

try calling it see if it picks up your call
