This gives you the upper hand in so many ways.
First, the papers need to be served by a competent legal authority. not doing so means it cannot be proved to a judge that you were ever served the papers and will give you some leverage.
Second, don't be offensive to the other guy. Your soon to be ex wife has no doubt told him many horror stories about you in the effort to make you look like a total piece of crap. Some may be true, most are usually going to be made up to make her look victimized in some way.
Being a nice person to the guy will show him you most likely weren't at fault for the break-up and he will start looking to her for whatever caused the split.
Here's a fun one, take him out for a beer and during the conversation let him know that the sex between you two was always awkward. Say you had to keep going slow and shallow because she kept complaining that you were stretching her and hitting too hard on her cervix. Offer this as advice that she may be very sensitive and he will need to take extra care in that department.
When he has sex with her she will not complain about those things and he will feel that he couldn't measure up to you. No matter what she says for reassurance, he will still feel you were bigger and better than him in bed.

I think it's inappropriate for her to have a boyfriend while she's still married. As for the divorce papers, nah. He's just a delivery boy. Get over it.

Yes, inappropriate. HOWEVER after my husband of 30 years decided to spend all of his time with another woman, an acquaintance offered to pose as someone who wanted to marry me and serve him with the divorce papers. I was tempted, but no... tit for tat won't make me feel any better.

I don't think this is even legal. I believe the papers have to be served by an official from the courts like a deputy sheriff. You need to ask your lawyer or contact the courts and find out.

It depends. If everyone's in good terms with each other. It shouldnt be a problem. As in, they're not up each other's *** all the time, then it's acceptable altho not really apt. But i'm fine with it if the situation mentioned is such.
But if the new boyfriend is the reason we're getting a divorce, no way. Or if we're not in talking terms, then no way.

Yes, in deed it is inappropriate.
Sounds like he maybe an officer of the law and if this is the case then he has superiors who he answers to. Report it!
Bad bad choice for him to have made.

Of course it's inappropriate, and you could probably add dangerous as well, cuz as soon as he stepped his foot on my doorstep he would most likely lose his head (or some other appendage vital to the life and happiness of your wife).

I know it never seems like this early on, but the winner is usually the divorced husband and the big loser is almost always the new boyfriend.
