What's with all the "B*TCHIN"? I have seen this section go down hill over the last 4 to 6 months. I totally don't have the same opinion about this section anymore. 12 months ago, TRUE AFL followers would post fantastic questions and answers, now it's 'Day's Of Our Lives" forum.

I'm with ya on that Kev.

It gets pretty tiresome. All the regulars should know I hate Sydney. I've mentioned it in three (3) different posts - not 100 questions ... but do I hate every Sydney supporter? Hell no! In fact we've even got one on here who's a nice guy - well almost!! :-)

I love my footy and I love my Cats, for no particular reason, I just love watching them - particularly as they play now. I've really enjoyed this forum and take time out nearly every day from my fairly frantic business to post or answer a few things, but I'm starting to wonder why.

I try to post in good humour and would love to see the same back. Guys like your good self - do much the same. But there are some people on here who haven't posted a single football question - just hatred.

Could we all get back to good humoured footy - and folks if you don't have humour, or you prefer hatred, I highly recommend the Religion and Spirituality section where you can join a really good, but slightly tedious, Muslim vs Christian vs God-hater debate.

Maybe it's just we've got no scoreboard to point to at the moment.

You are so right Big Kev and I am bit over the pathetic thumbs down trend which mainly seems to be aimed at the ladies on the forum that dare to have an opinion about football.
I can only hope it goes back to the good natured bantering and football trivia questions of the past.
After all one of the best things about footy is watching it with your mates no matter who they barrack for and stirring when their team loses and copping the same when yours lose..

Yeah I'm a bit over it mate, I notice you havent been around for a while. I've only been on here lately cos I've been stuck in the office at work. A bit of stirring is ok, but there are a few who take it to the extreme.

You would remember DAFFY, have to laugh at Mr. Nice Guy Paris, who got kicked off last time for for being a total psycho! Parrrris has cleaned up his/her act lately, but I'm still blocked, sigh.

This is tame compared to the Cricket section, that's why I come here to have intelligent talks on a sport I enjoy not read personal swipes at others, so everybody step back take a chill pill and let's get back to discussing the best football game in the world.

Yeah Big Kev, I seem to have noticed that i'm also not answering as many questions in AFL too. It is the off season though, lets hope we can get back into it again as the season kicks off.

Being in Kansas USA, I enjoy the discussions, but maybe since footy is on hold until next year, the site may have lost its luster. No games to discuss.
I need all the info of the off-season I can. I don't get to read the Herald Sun or Age footy sites everyday, but I try.
The the newspapers in the USA and ESPN--ha, ha, nothing on the footy. When Rocca, Graham and McBriar kick in the NFL, maybe it is said that they played footy, but that is all.

There is nothing wrong with having some passion for your club, but some people are getting a bit carried away. To make matters worse its the off season surely there is more to discuss than back stabbing everyone.

the AFL has gone into such a scandal with druggo man...big ben.

I agree kev. But because of this one idiot who like to have some crack sometime, he has put our game into crap and it has put this forum into crap becasue its always the same questions.

something to do with ben cousins or
where in the US can i watch the footy??

We should be looking at things like the kangaroo's bold decision, or the community camps or looking at the new draftees and seeing who will make an impact in '08.

thats what we need back on here!

I don't believe you. You'll be back to regale us with your unparallelled wisdom in regards to Andrew Gaff and why the AFL hates the Eagles.

This section is a great way for people in NRL dominated areas to keep in touch with whats going on in AFL without having to troll through the AFL website or the southern papers
