My 10 year has requested we call him "Big Dawg"......
The only one to comply is his 5 year old brother.....

Around the time I turned 50, I chose Moxie - not out of the blue ... it kind of evolved - long story.

Six years later, almost everybody calls me that. Even most of my family members use it. I don't push it with the ones who don't.

Call your son Big Dawg if he wants. He'll either get tired of it and ask you to stop, or it will stick. No big deal either way. =+)

I made my own nickname and everyone called me it. Most of my other nicknames from other people were just variations of it.

In fact I was just thinking of that this morning!!! You never know if you have to assume another identity on Yahoo. So I am thinking about it. I will keep you informed! :)

yes..it didn't work out so well. When I was in junior high (middle school) I thought Ducky was a cool nickname. Well, you can imagine...Bucky, Sucky, Clucky and the ever popular (thanks, Dave) Go F***y.

I haven't....and I am sure I never would. Other people have tried to give me nicknames occasionally....but I prefer to be known by my name they way it is....the way my parents obviously intended.
