I don't think he'll get fired, so let's take a guess. Realistically, he should draft Chris Long or Glenn Dorsey to help the defense. But I can just see him pulling another Ted Ginn Jr. here. Since he drafted Ted Ginn Jr. to replace Wes Welker last year, I think he's going to draft Early Doucet to replace Chris Chambers. 2 receivers in 2 years? Hey, why not if "Early Doucet is going to be someone you're going to enjoy watching play for a long, long time as a Miami Dolphin."

Lay the blame at Sabans door. He inherited a terrible team. Considering the dolphins had no speed on offense, Ginn wasn't a bad pick. He didn't do much this year, but no pick would have. He should take Jake Long, or trade down for 2 first round picks, and maybe a third. Either way, the dolphins are not going to be good this year, and it wouldn't matter who was coaching them.

If he picks number one you HAVE to go with Darren McFadden. I know he has chatman and williams but mcfadden is just too good to pass up. The second round you need to go with Colt Brennan if he's lucky. Colt might drop down to the second round. And mark my words right now: Colt Brennan will be one of the top five NFL quarterbacks of all time when it's all said and done.

But what will probably happen is he will trade down and get a few more picks. Draft Dorsey first then Colt in the second round. Their secondary is okay so they need some help with their aging defensive line in the other rounds.

All the stars in the sky wont make the Dolphins shine, until they have an offensive line. If a QB has no time, a back has no hole, and the entire timing of most plays is disrupted, they will be un-able to win.
They need massive help on the line and on defense.

It was two years ago when SI picked the Dolphins for the Superbowl, right? Seems like an eternity considering what's happened since then.

He'll trade down a couple picks and take Glenn Dorsey.

If he does draft the WR, I'd wonder if he went to the Matt Millen school of drafting

I reckon he should trade down, but isn't it the GM who makes the selections in Miami?

If he was smart he would trade it.
