No, and no. Racism really gets my back up. I do not believe that a person should be judged based on demographic factors like race, or religion, gender, sexuality, age, hair colour etc. I only make judgements on other people, based on their attitudes towards, and how they act with others.

YES. I became that way after several years of repeated negative experiences with several people sharing that same race. I learned I could not feel comfortable around or relate to them and get positive results, so I chose to dislike that and avoid these people as best I can.

I DO NOT hate them as a race however, I hate the FACT that I cannot co-exist among them, be myself, and feel safe or comfortable doing so. I know that there were MANY times when I would have been in serious trouble had I spoke my mind about certain situations I felt were unjust.

There IS no "label" for people who do not PREFER to associate personally with people of certain races - so YES, I have been "labeled" a racist which is not entirely true at all.

I have laughed at the odd irish, welsh scottish joke before so I could be accused of being a racist there I suppose. Remember, racism is not about colour - and english person can be racist against a scot for example or visa versa but it only seems to constitute racism if it is white against black. I will give you an example, in celebrity big brother, Jade Goody was accused of being racist against Shilpa Shetty because she immitated how indians typically spoke, yet when Shilpa immitated how english people spoke that was OK. Victim mentality ruins things for everyone.

yer i was called a white honky once, but that was years ago. now i can go to police and complain. get the person arrested and thrown in jail, i love this PC brigade, not. could i do that? not in a million years, but the minority's can, it on the side of the minority's, this British government doesn't give a fcuk about the majority. hence. were told to keep our mouths shut, or we're all up before the cops, am so not a racist, married to an Indian, but even he says this country is too soft on people. why does our country? which my grandad gave is life for. have to patronise the minority's who come to our country and lay down their laws...scardy cat vote catchers, back handers, which is now proven to be true, politics stink. and all politicians are low life, in the uk, they open the doors. shut up val.. i could go on and on. but it would take too long

I was raised by a racist, but then I had to unlearn the
racist-mind because I wasn't going to be wasting my time
judging people by their color or race,
no I've never been told a racist comment, or
at least heard it directly towards me,
I was raised in a strong Chicano community,
where 90% of the population is Mexicans and Mexican-Americans

To answer both questions...
I'm a Muslim, what do you think?

(Racism is a sin in Islam and the President of the most powerful country in the world said my religion was a hateful ideology, not to mention what people on the street say)

I think we all are to an extent as our views how ever well meaning will offend some other person from a different race. It's all about opinions i guess and how the other person views and interprets your comments.

TRUTHFULLY, I was as a kid. BUT After I joined the U.S. Marines I very quickly learned that basically there was only one race. It was GREEN. EVERYONE was equal with the exception of rank. WE (Marines) were ONE. I learned all so much and now I believe WE are all ONE and are all equal. I don't care what a person race or nationality are. WE are ALL HUMAN, and as such are ALL EQUAL.
