Ok,, let's make a lengthy debate here,, through most everyone's eyes that are not LSU fans. You have one track minds. You all Hate LSU. I can live with that. You all talk about the LSU losses. Ok. let's see how your teams did.
Ohio St.. lost to Illinois.. rest of schedule very weak.

Oklahoma.... losses to Texas Tech and Colorado. Wow,, they are ranked high, aren't they.

Georgia... Losses to Tenn. and South Carolina.. Out of SEC championship game. (Has legitimate complaint but still has two non quality losses also.)

USC.. Losses to Oregon and Stanford. Oregon shows they can't play when they lost the one great player thay had. Stanford.. what can I say.. Murphy's law applied here.

Missouri... two losses to same team.. Problem.. one was the conference Championship.

Kansas... only one loss.. but Like Georgia,,, didn't make the conference championship. If the unwritten rule has to apply to one.. has to apply to both.

West Virginia.... losses to South Florida and OMG,, Pittsburgh.. Murphy's law once again reared it's ugly face.

And.. Va. Tech. .. Losses.. LSU and BC.. The loss to BC was close.. heartbreaker... Pounded by the LSU team ya'll keep saying is undeserving... But,, They have a legitimate complaint.

Finally,, Hawaii... Unbeaten... La. Tech had their chance in the second game of the season to have eliminated this discussion.. but failed on their 2 point attempt to hand them a loss in OT. Good team here,, but schedule leaves a lot of doubt as it does with Ohio St. Ya'll want to say Ohio St.'s schedule is weak and they don't belong,, but that Hawaii's schedule is weak,, and they are undefeated so the deserve?? Yeah.. right.

Now.. LSU.. Losses.. Kentucky 3 ot...... Arkansas... 3 ot. Sitll a loss.. Maybe they didn't lose in regulation.. but they didn't win in regulation either. Schedule they played this year was very tough. Based on the way ya'll reason and look at things... Let's put all the above teams in a schedule that is that tough and rehash it afterwards.

Maybe LSU isn't deserving.. But by the way most all of you look at their losses... Who else is? Certainly not any of the above. Someone had to be picked. And,, that someone was LSU and Ohio St.

I am not excited AT ALL. The Georgia Bulldawgs should be going so that they can show the nation how to play some real football!! Plus the way that college football has gone this year, I wouldnt be surprized if by some miracle, OSU and LSU both lose becuase if Georgia isnt in it, they shouldn't be either. OSU has played an aweful schedule, omiting the one team in their state that is actually ranked, they didn't play a championship game. Georgia has played a tough schedule and managed to come back for an amazing season. Who cares about whatever happened with Nevada a couple years ago. Georgia should be in the SHIP instead of LSU and Ohio state. IT should be Georgia vs. Oklahoma.

Of course LSU deserves to go. For those who think that Goergia deserves it...win your freaking conference first then talk smack. Oh by the way LSU is in Baton Rouge not New Orleans...not a home game dumbasss. Do your geography homework! Same state yes, but not a home game. Everyone else needs to stop their whining!!!!

They shouldn't be in the "ship." They lost 2 games. The last one at home to an average team. It should be Oregon to represent Dixon who should be a heisman finalist and winner. The other team should be Ohio State like they are. Since Ohio State deserves to be in the championship go ohio state!!

They may be the best 2 loss team,, but what about the 1 loss team that got jumped over? They shouldn't have jumped up so high.

It seems like it was pre-ordained from the beginning. I'd like to see them play for a championship away from home for once. 1958, 2003, 2007 - all played at home. LSU lost their last game of the season at home to an average team. That should have KILLED their title hopes. Not to mention they lose at least two more games if they didn't get some extremely homer calls at home.

I think LSU has no business being there, and it is another case as to why the BCS is BS...

I think it's great since both their loss' were in triple overtime to two very good SEC teams with great players on them. It's not like they lost to some no name teams and they play in a very tough conference. They are the best 2 loss team in the nation.
