Some of us do not even read nor listen to the news because it is so nasty. We do not hate. So, you turn on your computer and right in front of you is a picture of a gunman with a rifle killing people in a mall. When will they get it, many of us do not watch the news nor read it because they put things on that some do not want to see. Ok, maybe you like it, do you?

I do not watch the news any more because there is never any good news, only bad. I know there are people out there who maim and kill, and abuse and destroy. I don't need to start my day with it.

I hate it when people kill people just because they are depressed! I do like watching my local news and once in a while i will put on the national news! Most of my friends think the ews is boring and they have no idea why im watching it. Well cuz were 13. But i like being informed about stuff going on!

Its like newsreaders looking so happy when they read out stories of school massacres etc.
They love a good murder - its like a home run for them!

It is sad that sensationalism is what makes the money in the news business. I can certainly sympathize with your point of view.

no one likes it, but on the other hand we are drawn to it like lab rats,we cant stop the news we kind of need it in a way i guess.
