Na na na na na na na-na oh ye-eah... na nanna na na naaa... in the past, we always were together/used to be together...
(na na na)... ;)

I've already tried google, with no luck. I just can't find out the name of the song! Maybe I got the text wrong...
If you think you have heard something similar to this, please help me. Or if you don't know the name of the song, but know more of the lyrics.. all help appreciated! :)

I'm not sure it's any of those... It's a typical "summer song", man's voice, and some of the lyrics were in a foreign language...

I think this is the theme song for the Montreal Canadiens Hockey team. At the end of every win the entire 20000 fans at the Bell Centre break out in this song.

.If the song seems like a summer song The White Sox play the song when an opponents relief pitcher is called. Otherwise all the guesses are correct since Stream first recorded it and they weren't a real group. Nylons recorded it as did Sly.
Original recording by the Chateau.

"Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" was a song written and recorded by Gary DeCarlo, Dale Frashuer, and Paul Leka; attributed to a then fictitious band "Steam," it was released under the Mercury subsidiary label Fontana. It became the number one pop single on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1969. Although subsequent recordings and a quickly assembled touring band Steam met with little success, "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" remains a perennial favorite.

It isn't 'My My My' by Armand Van Helden, is it? On low fidelity radio it's easy to mistake it for what you said.
