*lilacs, these remind me of my very first love.
*a good Puro, or Cuban cigar, because once in a while if *someone offers me one, I love its' million lovely scents in one.
* Freshly fallen virgin snow.
*Rain on hot pavement, because it releases its' gratefulness in scent.
* The tropical sea, because I come from the tropics. One never forgets it!
* The scent on my cat Sonia's long fur, because I SO MUCH love her.
* My Mum's perfume, because once I was connected to her in the womb.
* My Father's handkerchiefs, scented with the slightest touch of Cologne.
* Oil Paint, plaster, clay, the fiery smell of a walk in kiln, because these are parts of my work.
* Many, many, many others . . and these would fill a page or more, a hundred.
* So one last scent : My late brother's ashes, which I have a part of . . the rest were cast into Loch Ness in Scotland, a land he loved! And Why, because his heart was great and pure - and his ashes are what remain of him. But also because I know that now he is with what he loved so much; the company of Wonderfully Gracious and Gentle "monsters" as Nessie is. And for all of this, because I very much and always will, love my gentle and inimitably lovable Brother.
Grecia.

Vanilla.
It is so relaxing.
It is so strange how a smell can bring back memories. Memories that you aren't even sure you had.
