The Microwave is such a convenience item, and now 1 minute is too long for you. I am literally LMAO.
What you want to do, is bake your own bread from scratch. Try it, you might like it, it's very relaxing and therapeutic.
You'll have a whole new outlook on that 1 minute.

Find something to do during that minute. Maybe something in the kitchen needs quick attention, & before long, the microwave "beeps."

Either you need re-calibrating
or you need a microwave cooker that works properly
(but do remember they only work well with items with a high water content)

I never use them.
I tried the office one once and it took 3 minutes to heat a mug of soup, I could have done it more quickly on my stove.
