How do I convert dual phono cables to a 3.5mm headphone RECEIVER?

I have an Xbox 360 which I have wired in to a computer monitor, but the monitor has no phono inputs!
How can I convert the two phonos into a 3.5mm receiver that I can plug headphones / speakers with a 3.5mm cable into?
How else might I get sound from the phono cables?

the 2 Phonos give a "line level" output not a headphone level.

You really need to purchase a "headphone amp" to get signals levels right and give a volume control.

Don't know where in world you are, but www.maplin.co.uk used to have a headphone amp
