You will need lots and lots of money. Start looking for scholarships now and get that GPA up. Practice and study for the act/sat as much as possible.
If you currently are out of the state of MA be prepared (and be sure your parents are prepared) to pay for out of state tuition.

I go to college right by Fenway and it really is great here. Your GPA is pretty good and I think if you tried and got it up to at least a 3.5 you wouldn't have to worry about anything.

Check out the Colleges of the Fenway and read up on what programs they have (website: http://www.colleges-fenway.org/ ) It's a group of 6 colleges in the Fenway area where they work together, but still are seperate colleges. They each offer a different environment and a different set of programs (for example, technology related or art related). So, no matter what you're interested in, I'm sure one of those colleges will have a program for you.

There are so many colleges in the Boston area that you will have no problem finding one that you can get into.

You would need to improve your grades to straight As, get high SAT scores and write a great admissions essay to get into the best schools in the area (e.g., Harvard, MIT, BC, Tufts, etc). If you end up with a B+ average and slightly better than average SAT scores, those schools will be out -- but other schools in the area are possible.

Look at sites like Princeton Review to search for schools in the area.

Boston is indeed the best center of education in the country, but you must be the best of the best to qualify for admittance. I say do what I did and study study study, and always do the best you can. You will not regret it later in life. Always strive to be the best and you will succeed.

BTW the most important advice I can give you is DON'T EVER EVEN TRY DRUGS No one how takes drugs or even associates with anyone that does, always loses in the end.

Best of luck to you, my young friend.
