No, I don't think that. some people are users, this is true and unfortunately when things are tough we find out who we can depend on to be there. But trust me there some really fabulous relationships between friends. One really good friend is priceless. Trust me I have friends, but I have 3 who I would turn to in a second if I needed anything and vice-versa. I know I am giving my age away however I am 53 and my closest friend and I have been friends for 48 years and there isn't anything we can't share with each other. We both have our families and we respect each others priorities. In fact she just had her first grandson the other day and the first person she called from the hosp. was me. I cried when I heard the news because her children are like my own nieces and nephews and I have 16 nieces and nephews of my own. She was there with me when I had my son 23 yrs ago (in the delivery room) that bond will never be broken. If you've had bad experiences friends with friends I am soo sorry for you, but I assure you, there are some very special people who make wonderful friends. Without mine I don't know if I would have survived many difficult situations. And my son also has a very close friend,so close he calls me Mom. so to answer your question yes, you can have some wonderful friends as long as you are willing to be a friend yourself.

People would probably seem more honest to you if they could understand what you are saying. Did you read your own question? What language is this?
Whoops. I see someone beat me to the obvious.
