no i dont think he wil...hes not even been back a month yet....he needs a few more matches under his belt instead of going straight back into the title picture
i think he will get the title maybe at the royal rumble or the month or 2 after
my prediction is orton retaining the title
edge winning the WHC then taker beating him at wrestlemania.

Great Question and everyone is asking about it!
I am a big Jericho fan, but I am a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Randy Orton fan!!!!
Now, I am not saying Jericho will lose the match at Armageddon because I want Randy to win...I am saying Jericho will lose at Armageddon because it is too early for Jericho to win the WWE Championship!
Jericho returned a few weeks ago and now he already has a WWE Championship match, as we all know, and I think it was kind of unfair for the other WWE Superstars who have been trying to get to the Title picture for a long time!
Jericho is a good wrestler, but this is abit overrated for him...as it would be for any wrestler who just returned to the WWE and got a title shot!
Randy will win and retain the WWE championship at Armageddon, well I am hoping he does...but who knows how he will win it?! Randy may cheat (most likely), maybe someone will interfere or maybe Randy may win it fairly (not likely to happen, lol).
Whichever one it is, I still stand by what I said...Randy will win!
In my opinion, I don't think Jericho will even be the one to win the title from Randy! Randy deserved a long title reign and I think the WWE are finally giving him it!
Now, the Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho match for the WWE Championship at Armageddon will be amazing, you can count on that...though i don't think the Jerichoholics will be impressed with the result of the match!
I am 110% behind Randy in this and yeah, I know I am going to get some thumbs down for my own opinion on this...but...

You want Jericho to win...and I'm sure most people do, but as far as that happening...I will "RESPECTFULLY" say...Randy Orton will walk out of Armageddon 2007...STILL...the WWE Champion!

No because; the WWE is schedule to follow the required story line, Which they are doing of so far and yet again; no Chriss Jericho will not win at Armageddon due of the story line of the Royal Rumble which Chriss Jericho is going to be in the 30 man Royal Rumble competing, Which will enable him a shot at WrestleMania23 to face Triple H...

i think of Orton will maintain by potential of cheating in some style of way and getting the pinfall. And at Royal Rumble it will be Triple H vs Randy Orton. Triple H will win and Jericho will win the rumble. At WrestleMania 24 it will be Chris Jericho vs Triple H take 2. that would be the suitable set-up.

I don't think he will, because this is his first big match in over two years. I do like Y2J, but I love Randy, so all my faith will be in him at Armageddon.

I've heard rumors saying that he is and he isn't but he's only been back for a short time and Orton deserves the title so they should let Orton win at Armageddon and make the rivalry longer and more entertaining.
