Hi,
I have a gas heat house hot water baseboards. I have a problem where one loop is getting heated at all. This loop goes to the three bedrooms. Someone suggested raising the temperature to about 90 degrees and bleeding the boards to empty the air that could be blocking the water from flowing. I did that a few times and still no help. I think the first try seemed to work because I felt the hot water finally came through. But a day later, I am still having the same problem. I bled the baseboards in all three bedrooms and no change. I actually have the temperature on 90 degrees and the bleeding screws undone and no air or water coming through. Please help.

Thanks

If that is the only zone not working properly, there is still probably air in that loop. If you had the system on and the bleeding screws undone without anything coming out, there is either a big pocket of air on the system does not have enough water. If you have the old screw type bleed valves, you would be a lot better off to replace them with automatic float type air vents. It is not hard and will save you money and aggravation. do u have more than one thermostat in the house? if so u have zone valves by the boiler.the one that feeds the bedrooms is not opening.find the zone valve for the bedrooms and there should be a manual switch on it open the valve and see if it works.than change it out

? where do you people get these weird heating things ?
I know hot water can be blocked by air, locks, , so there has to be a blockage [air ] some where in the system, the more you heat water the more air is released from it, ,[that is why it boils]

Sounds like you dont have pressure on the system. Check your temp. and pressure gauge. your pressure should be 15lbs or so. Make sure the feed valve in not turned off.

Call a plumbing and heating expert. You may have clogs or leaks along the line.
