i have a wired pc and was wondering if there is any way i can convert it to wireless?

I presume you mean a wireless network connection? Yes, there is.
You just have to buy a router, and get a WiFi adapter for USB, like these:

You will need a wireless card or adapter for your computer and a wireless router for connecting to your internet socket. If your connection is through your BT line, get an ADSL wireless router, if it's cable, get a cable wireless router. Have a shop around, some places have deals on both the adapter and the router.

Some PC's come with wireless and some come with wires.
Mostly laptops come with wireless but you can get a computer to be wireless...
Firstly you need a wireless connection [Eg. A BT home hub]
And then you need a wireless router to plug into your computer.. [Or laptop]
I don't know everything you have to do but this is a small taster of what to do =)

if your PC is in the same place all the time I would not bother, wired connections are better than wireless and more secure, only use wireless for portable things like laptops. if you do start using wireless don't for get to secure it or anybody in your street will be downloading porn on it. netgear equipment is quite popular
