BSaw, the same thermometer that you would use for measuring your temperature at any time would measure your basal body temperature as well.
Basal body temperature is the body temperature measured immediately after awakening and before any physical activity has been undertaken. It does not require any special thermometer. Just go for one of those "Clinical thermometer" that you will get at any leading chemist. You can also get these digital thermometer and the strip thermometer these days; ensure that they are graduated to measure temperatures with a difference of at least 0.2 degree Fahrenheit.
