i was reading this book earlier and one of the storylines involved angels, except they were evil.
in the book it said that angels were out to kill ordinary people coz they weren't seen as "pure", but wouldn't that make them as bad as everyone else?

so, are angels really that "innocent"?
(i know it's just a book but it got me thinking...)

Angels are mostly good but if there are good angels there also evil angels. Evil angels pretend themselves to be good but in reality they have a hidden agenda just as the author did in the book you are reading. Angels are innocent too just as babies who earlier lost their lives.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

Whatever a book says isn't actually not the truth. Yes angels are innocent and pure. If they would stop being innocent they wouldn't remain angels anymore, they would become angels who had fallen or have given off to evil.

There are different angels, depend on concept of a religion. Angel in Christian and Islam, both must have some differential numerical analysis.

Angels in Islam, is really innocent, since they are made from the light element, and do not have lust and anything relate to it, only emotion, so that they fear to God.

Since they do not have lust, angel does not possess the negative or selfishness or anything beast or devil like.

The book you read must be different perspective, concept about angel. It must be another version, fiction angel.

Shea's reaction is information that too a lot of human beings have been duped into believing that being woman = being harmless. This has no similarity to the Salem Witch Trials in any admire, different than for the shown fact that the accused are woman. this is truly not a case of equivalent rights. it fairly is a homicide case the place the information for sure potential that Knox is, in part, accountable. seem on the information, and bear in techniques that being a woman would not make one much less able to chilly-blooded homicide. after all, we aren't nonetheless residing interior the Stone an prolonged time, are we Shea?

No because if you look in the Bible at Revelation 12 : 9 you will see bad angels thrown out of Heaven.

The Bible states that angels are messengers of God. The stories seem a bit contradictory in that man was supposedly more of a free thinker ("like us" said God?").

Did the "us" refer to the trinity or other godlike beings and were we more free in our thinking than all angels?

Stories of angels falling from grace suggest they may have had free will, and egos. Other stories tell of an angel getting angry and wanting to punish people who raped him or her. (Gender is a bit unclear when it comes to angels, in heaven as spirits they may not have gender but they might have gender in human form.)

Wow! That must have been a good book, could you name it? I usually don't think much about angels but if they do exist they would have the capacity for great good or evil.

all the demons were once angels so it would seem they could have a dark side as well.... maybe some angels who stayed were smart but still not like people

Angels are the messengers of God. Unless they are the Rebel angels they response to God Word. We should never pray to angels only to God. Then God will release the appropriate angel as he sees fit.
