Certainly most (if not all) animals are able to COMMUNICATE with their own species. Whether or not you would call it a "language", I don't know. But they communicate with sounds and also with foot and head movements.

I have no way of knowing if they have nouns and verbs, and participles, and whether of not their subjects and predicates have to agree in number, gender and tense.

Of course, there are many fictional pieces that portray animals talking very fluently.

launguage huh No, only humans have language. Unfortunately, misspelling is a part of human language.

Animals communicate. Sounds, body language, movements like dance, even scents. But no, they don't and cant talk.

You can train a parrot to mimic human words, but the parrot is clueless as to what the word means, unless they are trained to associate the word with something. A parrot squawks cracker, you give it a cracker. But the parrot could be taught to squawk "beans", you give it a cracker, it does not know beans from crackers.

It is sad to see how many folks do not know how to use the language they are born in to. Words have definite meaning. Using words improperly indicates a lack of knowledge and laziness. As does spelling errors and bad grammar.

It depends on what you call "language". Whales can communicate by song. Most animals communicate by body language. Chimpanzees vocalize and a couple that knew American Sign Lanuage would sign back and forth to one another. Birds mostly communicate by a territory-staking song. So do many frogs and toads.

I know that a cat's voice box is capable of speaking like a human, although it is not intelligent enough to do it. So you just need to successfully transplant a human brain into a cat and you'll have a talking cat. lol

i guess they can communicate in ways that are similar to language. Dogs can bark a lot..like to each other it could be a warning to stay away or something.
Also their urine marks territory telling other dogs to stay away...they are always sniffing.. ^^"

I guess other animals would communicate with each other..thus there are families and lovers...

So i guess that all have their own language within their species......!!!!

Of course they do how do you think they communicate with other animals. Think about it when was the last time you sat down and had a conversation with your cat.

i doubt it, they comunicate with each other, through sounds. like growling means they are angryetc. but i dont think they can talk in a language to each other like " hey, lets take that buffalo down, i'll go left you go right." for them its just, im angry, im hungry etc.
