Elijah is a great Old Testament name but of course not pronounced as you indicate. I think people will pronounce it the usual way all his life.

When I see itor hear it I think of a powerful energy.
I ahd a geramn shephard named elijah
also have a neighbor named elijah, he is called EJ. It fits him.

firstly its not pronounced A-li-a
it's prounounced E-lijah
secondly its from the Bible and its a nice name but its not commonly used
